Does anyone have any engine sounds that would sound appropiate for a Vauxhall Astra (FXO) and Toyota Celica (RB4)? They need to sound unmodified and realistic as they are for use in a movie involving both slow and fast city driving. Any suggestions would be of great help If they could also be posted as wav files for use in the movie if anyone provides anything, that would also be of use.

I've noticed now that you can actually save it with Xvid directly in Vegas, which works for me. However, the video is still not appearing in widescreen despite being set to 16:9 in the project settings?
The blurring doesn't happen now, but I am still having the problem of no video appearing when Vegas has rendered it. I have now noticed however that this only happens when I render it as uncompressed with Vegas, as a video is present in other settings. Also, even though it is uncompressed, should a 30 second file really be 4GB? Even in fraps the video file I was using was only 500mb.
Right, it seems as though the problem was due to the car shine setting in config afterall. Previously it was set to 0.30 which still made the car reflective, but since installing patch z it seems that this setting no longer results in any reflections. I raised it to 1.0 and this did result in reflections - but it only seems to work with some tracks and not others. Fern bay for example results in the car becoming too bright which does not look realistic, and I have tried to adjust the shine accordingly but it still remains the same. I have also tried replacing back the original textures but the same result still occurs. Any suggestions?
As you can also see from the screenshots, I also have a custom skin installed, would this be a factor? I tried it with the default skins but to no avail.
Everything is set exactly the same as it was before the patch. I tried to download the reflection textures manually in order to overwrite them, but this didn't work as they were already in the folder. I also looked at the cfg file, and the car shine was still set to 0.30, as was previously instructed when the high resolution pack was originally installed.
Since installing patch Z, there seems to be no reflections occurring whatsoever, and my wheels are also being depicted as grey when they were originally white, yet attempting to change them back manually is not working.
Note the change in wheels and lack of reflections. The real problem is that I need my car to look exactly as it did before for continuity in a movie I am currently making
Will any mods that I had previously installed on patch Y25 work with Z? I had the high resolution track textures and reflection textures installed but they don't seem to be, and my wheels have gone from white to grey strangely. It is very important as I need the continuity for my movie I am currently doing...
Surprisingly this actually worked, the blurring no longer appears with the quality set to preview, so thank you for that However, the rendered file is now not playing in media player - it states that is searching for the codec and that it has been acquired but there is no video present when it plays. Xvid is still installed. So close...
Edit: going into the properties of the file reveals the codec to be SFDB?
